I am proud that I stuck through with the project through the end. There were days that I wanted to give in to temptations, but I tried to leverage as much free time as possible in order to ensure the highest quality of work possible was produced from me. I am proud that I completed this project successfully and with my own hard work.
I am delighted that I remained disciplined to the very end and tried as much as possible to adhere to the strict planning schedule I set for myself in the beginning.
Given that the fundamentals of p5js were touch-based two years back, I found it enriching to learn, unlearn and relearn the basics of functions and loops, which were contributory to this project. I am proud that I revisited these important concepts to customize the game’s look and tried to implement as many of the initial features I set out to accomplish in the beginning.
Most importantly, I was joyful that I learned invaluable takeaways from this experience. Not just values like grit, discipline and time management; I learnt to consult my teachers whenever I needed help. I am very grateful to Mrs Lorraine Neo for answering my queries promptly! I also found the documentation of my learning process throughout this project enriching and fruitful once I got the hang of it.
Overall, the experience of making a game from scratch was arduous, yet rewarding. I am proud of my final product and the various values and coding concepts I have gained from this project.
