W4 Monday and Tuesday Learn about the new functions of my code above e.g. loadPixels (), and see how I can implement them in my code. Read The Nature of Code Introduction and Chapter 1: Vectors to gain further insight. Relearn the basics of p5js and see how it can be inputted into my project. Learn to document my project using the features of Notions.
W4 Thursday Start raw coding on my game. Simultaneously, finish watching the videos I have assigned for myself and work on the backend of my typeracer game in order to reinforce what I have watched. Finish implementing the background and introductory message.
W4 Sunday Added the word bank of 1000 words to an array for the words in the typeracer over the weekend.
W5 Monday Refined the timer and font section.
W5 Friday Finished implementing my timer, buttons and wpm section.
W6 Tuesday Finalise all aspects of the type-racer game, including but not limited to: well annotating and tidying up my code, ensuring it is user friendly and asking people to test my game.
W7 Monday Update my project log on Notions and update this document regarding any other extra features to implement in my game regularly. These also include the summary of readings or any video links I have read and how it is useful for my project.
W7 Thursday Finish a reflection on the challenges I met along the way, what I am proud of, and my future works.
W7 Saturday Look and peer review my classmates’ projects and see whether there is anything I can do to give constructive comments
W8 Monday - W10 Saturday Touch up on my raw code and write up, making sure there are no errors. Add comments into my code from time to time with annotation. Check for bugs and consult Mrs Lorraine Neo for debugging advice (if any).
W10 Sunday Submit the link to my raw code and game. Tidy up Notions page.
